A Kopi Tubruk is an Indonesian-style coffee that is a strong and thick coffee similar to a Turkish or Greek coffee. It is made by boiling coarse coffee grounds and water together along with sugar, similar to the Cuban coffee. The Kopi Tubruk is common in the islands of Java and Bali. Some people like to add condensed milk to give it a rich texture like melted ice cream. Although there are special coffees in Indonesia, any blend will do.
